About me

Well hello there, welcome to the about me page, here you will find a little bit more about myself and where I have come from, and how I am here today.

So let's begin with the basics, my names joseph pleased to meet you :)

I'm a 19-year-old makeup artist from a small town in Cumbria. Before I started all of this makeup business I actually started as an artist to become an art teacher, this slowly changed as I realized that I found art fun but couldn't do it as a career because I knew that this wouldn't be fun for me to create art anymore, so I set off exploring different mediums and thought id give makeup a good old try... 

I started out looking into the types I enjoyed and came across a lot of drag queens and how expressive they were in their creations, drag had always been an interest for me and I obviously watched countless hours of drag race and was constantly mesmerized by everything they did and thought to myself "hey why don't I give this a go" Andddd here I am 2 years down the line still sticking to drag and hopefully one day I can do something with it when the current circumstances are over. 

Later after my years of being an art student, I set off on a new path and went to college for makeup and hair and absolutely loved everything about it and knew I had to go further with it so, I asked my tutor to help me out with my application to head off to university. 

This was one of the best decisions I could have made and I don't regret it at all. 

Through my years of learning in college and my current status at university, I have learned so much and progressed greatly and there are always new ways to learn and do things especially now we are all learning remotely.

Okie Dokie, that just and so summarises how I got to where I am and who I am slightly, however it doesn't exactly say what I am like and the styles I work in so let's go on with that, shall we :)

I am a fun-loving bubbly bright and cheerful character and always try and implement this within my artwork and my makeup to properly show who I am as a person and the styles that I enjoy working in. 

Speaking of styles I really really love to work in anything creative so you could perhaps say a little bit Avant-Garde to editorial depending on a brief or product used.

you will always find me covered in color and glitter and that's all fine by me :)

Over on the gallery page, I'm going to keep on adding pictures to show what I am capable of from natural to extravagant pieces of work that fully show all the things that I can do and all the things that I have learned and am learning.
